The Brighton Hove Jewish Welfare Board is not a glamorous charity. We have no offices, no cars, no paid employees and there will be no fancy fundraising functions. The work we do is essential and basic. We simply distribute your money to those less fortunate living amongst us in our community.
Your donation will put food on tables. It will buy clothes and shoes for school children. It will buy blankets for the elderly. We have members of our Jewish community who have to decide whether to eat or heat. Your money allows them to do both. This is tzedakah (charity) in its purist form.
