The Tibetan Education Relief Association (established 1986) has been making a positive change to impoverished Himalayan communities in India, Nepal, and Tibet for over 30 years. We are presently raising funds for our established projects that improve education opportunities the health welfare of people living in these communities. To coincide with World Leprosy Day 2020, we launched our new campaign to provide as much sponsorship as possible for lepers in Nepal, starting with our support for residents at a Leprosy Support Centre. Nepal is a country where leprosy - a curable disease - is endemic, contrary to popular widespread belief that it was eradicated a long time ago.
